I was born in Milan, Italy. As a former Italian skater, I became a three-time Italian National Champion and competed multiple times in the Junior World Championships, European Championships, and World Senior Championships, in addition to the 1992 (Albertville, FRA) and 1998 (Nagano, JPN) Winter Olympic Games. After my competitive career, I decided to become a coach following the suggestion of Carlo and Christa Fassi, my at the time. I began coaching in Milan and my students reached the National Championships at the Novice, Junior, and Senior levels, as well as European and World Championships multiple times, including the Olympic Games in 2 (Salt Lake City USA). In 2004, I was contacted by the Olympic Regional Development Authority with an offer to move to Lake Placid NY, to become part of the local coaching staff. The collaboration with ORDA went so well that three years later, I became the Director of the Olympic Center Skating School in Lake Placid, a program dedicated to competitive-level skaters. The program support to several skaters from different countries who participated in the European, Four Continents, and World Championships. Within four years, three different from the "OCSS" reached the Junior US National Championships and the US Nationals multiple times. In 2010, I moved to New York City. In 2018, I became the figure skating for the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Newburgh and Poughkeepsie, NY. I had the pleasure of bringing my students to the US Nationals, the Junior World Championships, and the Championships in2014 (Tokyo, JPN).
I am now located at the Palisades Center Rink in West Nyack. In 2004, I became an ISU Technical Specialist.
